The Ezra Klein Show

The Ezra Klein Show is a podcast hosted by Ezra Klein, a prominent journalist and policy analyst. The show features in-depth, long-form conversations with intellectuals, scientists, politicians, and cultural figures across a wide range of topics including politics, economics, technology, philosophy, and social issues.

Launched in 2014, the podcast became known for its substantive, often multi-hour interviews that explore complex ideas in depth. Klein's interviewing style emphasizes understanding the guest's worldview and reasoning rather than confrontational debate. The show has featured guests ranging from economists and neuroscientists to political figures and authors.

The podcast initially operated independently before moving to Vox Media in 2021 as part of Klein's broader move to the organization. It has become one of the most influential long-form interview podcasts in the English-speaking world, particularly influential in policy, tech, and intellectual circles.
