Humanity+ (formerly the World Transhumanist Association, or WTA) is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting transhumanism—the intellectual and cultural movement that advocates for the use of technology to enhance human intellectual, physical, and psychological capacities. Founded in 1998, the organization rebranded to Humanity+ in 2008 to reflect its broader mission and more accessible positioning.

The organization serves as a hub for transhumanist thought and activism, hosting annual conferences, publishing position papers, and engaging in policy advocacy around emerging technologies including artificial intelligence, biotechnology, nanotechnology, and life extension. Humanity+ brings together scientists, philosophers, technologists, and concerned citizens to explore how humanity can responsibly shape its future through technological advancement.

The organization has been influential in mainstreaming transhumanist ideas and providing a platform for serious academic and public discussion of human enhancement, existential risk, and the ethical implications of transformative technologies. It maintains chapters and members globally and continues to be a central institutional voice in transhumanist communities.
